El hallazgo se registró la mañana del miércoles 28 de octubre al norte de las afueras de Sinoquipe localidad del municipio de Arizpe, en un campo de béisbol en donde estaba un vehículo Toyota, línea Corolla con las luces encendidas y en aparente estado de abandono.
En el interior había dos bolsas, una contenía 1,092 envoltorios de hierba verde y dentro de la segunda localizaron 987 envoltorios conteniendo polvo blanco, con características físicas y similares a las de narcótico.
Al inspeccionar el vehículo y verificar los datos, se percataron que traía las placas sobrepuestas, además los datos del auto arrojaban que había un reporte de robo desde el 19 de marzo de este mismo año.
Ante estos hechos, se tomaron las medidas de seguridad y se procedió al aseguramiento de la materia, quedando todo a disposición de la Fiscalía General de la República para los trámites legales correspondientes.
